If you had told me that the man I met would deploy to Iraq just three months later as an infantryman in the United States Army, I probably would have thought our story was over before it ever had the chance to begin. Instead, it became the foundation of a love that has lasted more than twenty years.

Our relationship wasn't built on convenience. It was built on faith, commitment, patience, and choosing each other through every season of life. We've celebrated incredible victories, endured heartbreaking challenges, and weathered moments that could have pulled us apart. Through it all, we kept choosing to grow instead of giving up.

Along the way, God blessed us with our five greatest miracles—our children. They remind us every day that love is more than a feeling; it's a commitment, a partnership, and something worth investing in.

From the very beginning, I knew physical touch was one of the ways we spoke love to each other. Holding hands, embracing after a long day, sharing quiet moments together, and maintaining intimacy have always been a huge part of how we stay connected. Twenty years later, we're still learning, still communicating, and still finding new ways to strengthen that connection. We believe intimacy isn't something you achieve—it's something you continue to nurture throughout your relationship.
